The TEMSIC Project is made up of three NGOs. This supposes an added value in terms of cooperation and experience of each one of them, but it also entails the need to establish common criteria and positions on the key issues addressed in this intervention: Education for Global Citizenship and Social Inclusion in schools. Therefore, this document will define the common concepts and parameters that have guided the development of these guides.

This guide pursues two objectives. Firstly, presenting the educational community a theoretical framework that supports the concept of coeducation and its link with the construction of a global citizenship, its role to promote gender equality, prevent gender-based violence and vindicate the achievements and contributions of women. Secondly, strategies and orientations will be presented to teachers in the form of resources to focus their educational practice from a coeducational perspective that allows them to analyse and guide the educational curriculum and teaching materials towards gender equality and, as a consequence, being able to encourage students’ skills development to position themselves as agents for social change, promoting equality from a critical perspective of global citizenship and committed to human rights and the common good.
